Ensey to take over at St. Luke

Registered nurse Jeremy Ensey has agreed to become the new chief nursing officer at St. Luke Hospital, taking over for recently-retired CNO Linda Kannady. Ensey was previously employed at Galichia Heart Hospital in Wichita.

“Jeremy’s bedside and administrative experience is rare in a hospital of our size,” CEO Jeremy Armstrong said. “He will be an asset to our patients and our leadership team.”

Ensey completed his bachelor of science in nursing from Wichita State University, and his executive master’s in business administration from Friends University.

While at Galichia, Ensey worked as the emergency department director and most recently as the director of emergency services and interventional unit. He has 18 years of clinical experience with eight of those being in nurse leadership positions.

Ensey will begin at St. Luke Hospital today.
