Gary and Marcia Bauerle of Sabetha and Doug and Margaret Brewer of Peabody announce the engagement of their children, Bonnie Jo Bauerle and Wesley Allan Brewer.

Grandparents of the couple are Harold and Mary Bauerle, Illola Miller of Sabetha, and the late Gale Miller, Loyd Brewer of Peabody and the late Louella Brewer, and Allan Steffy of Manheim, Pa., and the late Mildred Steffy.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Sabetha High School and graduated cum laude from Kansas State University in 2008 with a bachelor of science degree in human ecology with family and consumer sciences licensure. She is employed by Axtell Junior/Senior High School as a FACS and forensics teacher and academic adviser.

Her fiancé is a 2004 graduate of Peabody-Burns High School and graduated from North Central Kansas Technical College of Beloit in 2007 with certification in automotive collision repair. He is employed by Epp’s Service in Elbing.

The couple plan to marry July 11 in Bern.
