ENDZONE: PBHS cross country

Staff writer

One experienced runner will anchor the Peabody-Burns cross-country team. Junior Zach Preheim will move into a varsity role, having spent the last two seasons on the junior varsity roster. Preheim will have a 2-mile challenge Sept. 1 at Clearwater for the first race and then the rest of the season will be 5k distance courses.

β€œHe has made great improvement in his times throughout the season last year and he continues to get stronger,” said head coach Kim Topham. β€œI am excited to see what he can accomplish now at this level.”
