April 14

1:42 p.m. — A 52-year-old woman in the 100 block of N. Buller St., Goessel, with doctor’s orders to go to the hospital was taken to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance. Goessel first responders were also paged, but did not respond.

wednesday

4:46 a.m. — A man with extreme abdominal pain in the 300 block of Willow Rd., Hillsboro, was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

6:40 a.m. — A man who had fallen out of bed at Westview Manor, Peabody, was helped up by Peabody ambulance. He refused to be taken to a hospital

8:42 a.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to Wesley Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

1:11 p.m. — A person who was found unresponsive near 220th and Indigo Rds, was not taken to a hospital. The person was deceased.

1:56 p.m. — A 38-year-old woman with high potassium in the 300 block of N. Cincinnati St., Burns, was taken to St. Francis, Wichita by Marion ambulance. Burns first responders were also on scene.

2:28 p.m. — Florence firefighters responded to an out-of-control burn near US-50 and Bluestem Rd.

6:05 p.m. — A 73-year-old man who blacked out in the 200 block of S. Summit St., Goessel, refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance. A Goessel first responder was also on scene.

thursday

9:59 a.m. — An 81-year-old man who was very dizzy with high blood pressure near 140th and Falcon Rds. was taken to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

5:25 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters were called a gas line that was hit in the 200 block of W. B St., Hillsboro.

6:49 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

friday

10:59 a.m. — A patient from St. Luke Hospital was transferred to NMC by Marion ambulance.

3:42 p.m. — A 74-year-old woman who fell in the 400 block of E. Marion St., Goessel, was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance. A Goessel first responder was also on scene.

saturday

10:22 a.m. — An 87-year-old man who had right hip pain at Parkside Homes, Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance by doctors orders.

5:17 p.m. — Lincolnville firefighters were called to a brush fire that was lit before it was reported near 300th and Zebulon Rds. No brush fires are allowed for April.

5:17 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, by Hillsboro ambulance.

sunday

1:59 a.m. — Marion firefighters and ambulance were called to Marion Assisted Living for a vehicle that hit the building. No one was taken to a hospital.

monday

2:08 a.m. — A 78-year-old woman who was not feeling well in the 300 block of W. 3rd St., Hillsboro, refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

8:18 p.m. — A 74-year-old woman who was having difficulty breathing in the 800 block of N. Poplar St., Peabody, was taken to NMC by Marion ambulance. Peabody ambulance was also on scene.
