April 7

3:14 p.m. — By doctor’s orders, a woman in the 300 block of Cemetery Lane, Burns, was taken to St. Luke Hospital by Marion ambulance.

5:32 p.m. — Florence firefighters were called to an out-of-control fire near Wagonwheel and 120th Rds.

wednesday

12:42 p.m. — A 58-year-old man who was having difficulty breathing in the 100 block of W. 7th St., Florence, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

4:22 p.m. — A 6-year-old boy who stepped on a sharp object and cut his foot, in the 100 block of N. Madison St., Hillsboro. His parents refused to have him taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

5:08 p.m. — A 58-year-old woman who was having stroke symptoms in the 300 block of N. Lincoln St., Hillsboro, was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

7:14 p.m. — Marion firefighters were called to cedar trees on fire from a controlled burn near Quail Creek and 190th Rds.

8:41 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to St. Joseph, Wichita, by Hillsboro ambulance.

thursday

1:48 a.m. — A 67-year-old man who fell out of bed in the 500 block of N. Vine St., Peabody, was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance.

1:57 p.m. — Florence firefighters were called to an out-of-control fire near 120th and Upland Rds. Marion firefighters were also called for mutual aid.

2:25 p.m. — Burns firefighters were called to an out-of-control fire near 30th and Clover Rds.

friday

7:37 a.m. — A woman having difficulty breathing in the 1500 block of E. Main St., Marion, was taken to St. Francis, Wichita, by Marion ambulance.

3:20 p.m. — Peabody firefighters were called to a fire that rekindled near Indigo and 100th Rds.

4:24 p.m. — An alarm company called about a medical pendent that was pushed near Sunflower and 30th Rds, It was an accidental button push and no one was taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance.

5:19 p.m. — Ramona firefighters were called to a fire that rekindled near 370th and Old Mill Rds. Lost Springs and Tampa firefighters were called for mutual aid.

11:57 p.m. — A woman who had chest pains and difficulty breathing in the 100 block of W. 7th St., Florence, refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance. Florence first responders were also called but did not respond.

saturday

1:10 p.m. — A man who was confused at the Indian Guide Terrace apartments, Peabody, was taken to Newton Medical Center by Peabody ambulance. Marion ambulance also responded to the call.

7:27 p.m. — A patient at Newton Medical Center was transferred to Peabody Health and Rehab by Peabody ambulance.

7:44 p.m. — Florence firefighters were called to fire near 140th and Bluestem Rds.

10:10 p.m. — An 84-year-old man who was not felling well at Salem Home., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

sunday

6:06 p.m. — Peabody, Florence, and Burns firefighters and Peabody ambulance, were called to an electrical fire in the 300 block of Locust St., Peabody.

monday

6:16 a.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to NMC by Marion ambulance.

4:12 p.m. — Burns firefighters were called to an out-of-controlled fire near 40th Rd. and US-77.
