4:01 a.m. — Hillsboro, Durham and Goessel firefighters and Hillsboro ambulance were called to a house fire near Indigo and 240th Rds.

9:45 a.m. — A 6-year-old boy with asthma related symptoms in the 200 block of E. Commercial St., Goessel, his parents refused Hillsboro ambulance to take him to a hospital.

3:44 p.m. — A 71-year-old woman who passed out at Salem Home, Hillsboro, was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

wednesday

3:13 a.m. — A patient from St. Luke Hospital was transferred to St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, by Marion ambulance.

3:46 a.m. — A 58-year-old man who was feeling ill in the 100 block of W. 7th St., Florence, was taken to Newton Medical Center by Peabody ambulance. A Florence first responder was also on scene.

7:05 a.m. — A 81-year-old woman who was having leg pain in the 300 block of W. 3rd St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

7:32 p.m. — Peabody firefighters were called to a fire alarm at Westview Manor. Call was canceled by the alarm company.

thursday

5:26 a.m. — A diabetic woman who was unresponsive in the 500 block of E. 1st St., Ramona, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance. Tampa ambulance was also on scene, but was delayed by a train.

9:15 a.m. — A man complaining of something stuck in his throat in the 100 block of N. Washington St., Hillsboro, refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

1:58 p.m. — Marion firefighters were called to the area of 150th and Nighthawk Rds., for a large brush fire that was not called in as a control burn.

8:54 p.m. — A 47-year-old man with a laceration on his arm near 180th and Chisholm Trail Rds., refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

9:14 p.m. — A 90-year-old woman who was not alert in the 200 block of Eisenhower St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Marion ambulance.

11:05 p.m. — A 60-year-old woman who was ill near 350th and Bison Rds., was taken to Salina Regional Health Center by Tampa ambulance.

friday

6:06 a.m. — A 90-year-old woman who had fallen in the 200 block of N. B St., Ramona, was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Tampa ambulance.

5:04 p.m. — A medical alarm company reported a 75-year-old woman who had fallen in the 400 block of E. Marion St., Goessel. She was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

11:51 p.m. — Sheriff’s officers requested Hillsboro ambulance to stage at the Goessel Elementary School. Hillsboro ambulance and Goessel first responders responded to the scene in the 600 block E. Marion St., Goessel. One person was taken to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

saturday

11:16 a.m. — Marion firefighters were called boat motor on fire at Marion Cove, Marion Reservoir.

2:29 p.m. — Florence firefighters were called to a grass fire near Wagonwheel and 110th Rds.

4:01 p.m. — A woman who fell in the 100 block of Eisenhower St., Marion, was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

5:06 p.m. — Goessel firefighters were called for a medical emergency in McPherson County.

6:34 p.m. — A medical alarm was activated in the 200 block of S. Cedar St., Marion, it was an accident and no one was taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

sunday

1:50 p.m. — A 55-year-old man who was having problems with diabetes in the 400 block of S. 4th St., Marion, refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

2:27 p.m. — A 90-year-old woman who was having stroke-like symptoms in the 200 block of Eisenhower St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

7:36 p.m. — Marion firefighters, rescue and ambulance were called to a one-vehicle accident near US-77 and US-56 intersection, no one was taken to a hospital.

monday

7:24 a.m. — A man with an injured foot near Backbay Court and Lakeshore Drive, Marion County Lake, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

11:50 a.m. — A resident who was running a fever at Parkside Home, Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.
