dec. 22

4:27 p.m. — A woman who fell in the 700 block of S. Ash St., Hillsboro, was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance. Hillsboro firefighters were called to help lift.

6:06 p.m. — Durham, Hillsboro and Tampa firefighters, and Tampa ambulance were called to a house fire near K-15 and 290th Rd. There was no house fire in the area, just the remainder of a controlled burn from earlier in the day.

monday

2:55 a.m. — A elderly diabetic man who was having trouble with his blood sugar in the 700 block of E. Nickerson St., Marion, refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

11:17 a.m. — A 79-year-old woman who had the flu in the 700 block of S. Ash St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

12:49 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters were called to the 200 block of W. B St., Hillsboro for a gas smell in the house. No gas leak was found.

1:45 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

2:12 p.m. — Lincolnville firefighters were called to a grass fire that was starting to get out of control near Vista and 310th Rds. Lost Springs firefighters were called for mutual aid.

3:48 p.m. — Marion firefighters were asked to bring a brush truck to put out a dead tree that had caught on fire from a controlled burn the previous day near Alfalfa Rd. and K-150.

4:03 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke Hospital was transferred to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita by Marion ambulance.

5:43 p.m. — A Marion police officer requested a ambulance to look at a woman’s possible broken hand at Marion’s police department. She refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

6:52 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to Wesley Woodlawn Hospital in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

8:14 p.m. — Peabody firefighters were called to a grass fire near 90th and Pawnee Rds.

9:56 p.m. — A 21-year-old man with alcohol poisoning in the 200 block of S. Elm St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

tuesday

4:35 a.m. — A 89-year-old woman who fell outside during the night in the 300 block N. Main St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

12:08 p.m. — A 93-year-old man who was showing stroke like symptoms near 190th and Falcon Rds., was taken to St. Luke Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

1:13 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to Newton Medical Center by Marion ambulance.

2:26 p.m. — Lincolnville firefighters were called to a grass fire in the 400 block of N. Lincolnville St., Lincolnville. Lost Springs firefighters were called for mutual aid.

3:56 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to St. Francis in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

5:06 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters were called to a gas meter that was hit in the alley in the 200 block of W B St., Hillsboro.

5:21 p.m. — An 83-year-old woman who fell in the parking lot at Dollar General in Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Marion ambulance.

7:33 p.m. — A 64-year-old man who fell in the 200 block of W. B St., Hillsboro, was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance. Hillsboro firefighters were called for lift assist.

wednesday

5:45 a.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to St. Francis in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

3:13 p.m. — A 65-year-old man who had several medical problems in the 200 block of N. Vine St., Peabody, was taken to Newton Medical Center by Peabody ambulance. Peabody firefighters were called to help lift.

4:08 p.m. — A man who was not breathing in the 400 block of N. Roosevelt St., Marion. No one was taken to a hospital, he was deceased.

5:17 p.m. — An 88-year-old woman who fell at Parkside Assisted Living in Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

thursday

7:50 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to NMC by Marion ambulance.

friday

11:20 a.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to Salina Regional Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

10:38 p.m. — An 80-year-old woman who had shoulder and arm pain in the in the 1500 block of E. Main St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

saturday

2:30 a.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to St. Francis in Wichita by Marion ambulance.

2:41 p.m. — A Peabody officer requested Peabody firefighters near 3rd and Locust Sts., for a gas smell.

9:31 p.m. — Peabody firefighters were called to a vehicle on fire near Old Mill and 60th Rds.
