Jan. 15

7:39 a.m. — A confused resident with high blood pressure at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro was taken to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

8:29 a.m. — A 63-year-old man fell out of bed in the 200 block W. B St., Hillsboro, received lifting assistance from Marion ambulance.

9:02 a.m. — A 66-year-old woman who fell in the 100 block of W. 7th St., Florence, was taken to St. Luke Hospital by Marion ambulance. Florence firefighters were called to help assist with lifting.

10:03 p.m. — A female who was having difficulty breathing in the 100 block of W. 3rd St., in Florence was taken to St. Luke by Florence ambulance.

Jan. 16

12:45 a.m. — A patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital was taken to Salina Regional Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

12:34 p.m. — An elderly man who was confused with slurred speech in the Dollar General parking lot in Hillsboro, was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

1:41 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita by Marion ambulance.

thursday

11:52 a.m. — A 93-year-old woman who had fallen the day before was complaining of stomach pain in the 800 block of Barker St., in Florence, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

12:50 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was taken to NMC by Marion ambulance.

6:56 p.m. — A 28-year-old man who had been vomiting blood in the 400 block of W. Grand Ave., Hillsboro, told Hillsboro ambulance that he did not call 911 and refused to be taken to a hospital.

8:03 p.m. — A 12-year-old boy who was having a seizure at the Hillsboro Middle School was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

8:25 p.m. — Marion ambulance was requested by a sheriff deputy to stage at the Lehigh Cemetery, they returned back to their station after an hour.

friday

8:52 a.m. — A 37-year-old diabetic woman who was unconscious in the 100 block of E. 9th St., Florence, refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

1:53 p.m. — A person at St. Luke Hospital had requested Marion ambulance to take him to the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita.

2:13 p.m. — An elderly woman who fell and twisted her ankle at Salem Home in Hillsboro was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

5:57 p.m. — A resident at Parkside Homes Assisted Living who was having cardiac issues was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

7:05 p.m. — Marion ambulance helped a woman who had fallen in the 100 block of S. Birch St., Hillsboro. She refused to be taken to a hospital.

saturday

10:01 a.m. — A patient from HCH was taken to St. Francis in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

6:13 p.m. — A resident at Bethesda Home in Goessel was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

7:00 p.m. — An 86-year-old man who was feeling weak in the 700 block of S. Lincoln St., Hillsboro, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

9:45 p.m. — A man who was having severe pain in his side at the Marion Assisted Living Center was taken to NMC by Marion ambulance.

sunday

11:39 a.m. — A man who fell on the ice at United Methodist Church in Hillsboro, was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

9:23 p.m. — A woman who fell in the 400 block of E. Marion Ave., Goessel, was taken to St. Francis in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance. Goessel first responders were also on scene.
