March 28
11:10 a.m. — A woman who fell and hit her head in front of Dale’s Super Market was checked by Hillsboro ambulance, but no transportation was provided.
11:55 a.m. — A person at Marion Assisted Living was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke.
12:55 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance traveled to Newton Medical Center to transport a patient back to Hillsboro Community Hospital.
March 22
6:11 a.m. — A woman with extreme leg pain was transported by Marion ambulance from the 300 block of Willow Rd. to HCH. Hillsboro first response also responded.
11:26 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Newton Medical.
THURSDAY
12:16 p.m. — Peabody ambulance was called to the 100 block of N. Olive St. for a possible diabetic problem. The person was transported by private vehicle to St. Luke.
4:14 p.m. — Marion ambulance performed an advanced-life-transport from St. Luke to Newton Medical.
8:46 p.m. — Marion fire, Florence fire, and Peabody fire were called to a barn fire on 160th Rd. between Bluestem and Clover Rds.
FRIDAY
12:44 a.m. — A person was transported from Parkside Homes to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.
2:22 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance performed a transfer from HCH to Parkside Homes.
9:20 a.m. — A man with cancer who was very dehydrated was transported by Tampa ambulance from the 700 block of Santa Fe St. in Durham to HCH. Durham first response also was called to the scene.
10:38 a.m. — An alarm going off at Centre schools prompted a call to go out to Lost Springs fire. A person then called dispatchers and told them it was a test.
11:45 a.m. — Marion ambulance performed a basic-life-support transfer from HCH to Via Christi— St. Francis in Wichita.
SATURDAY
1:32 a.m. — Marion ambulance was put on standby for a fight going on at the VFW. A man in his 50s was transported to St. Luke with what dispatchers called “multiple head contusions.”
5:09 p.m. — A person who had fallen and received a laceration above their eye was transported by Peabody ambulance from Peabody Health and Rehab to Newton Medical.
SUNDAY
11:13 a.m. — A man in his 60s who was recovering from having a tumor removed from his brain and described as not doing well was transported by Hillsboro ambulance from K-15 between 130th and 140th Rds. to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Goessel fire assisted with lifting, and Goessel first response also responded to the scene.
monday
4:26 p.m. — Marion ambulance performed an advanced-life-support transfer from St. Luke to Newton Medical.
5:56 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to a vehicle accident at the corners of Ash and D Sts. where airbags reportedly went off. A person was transported by private vehicle to HCH.
6:55 p.m. — A propane tank that exploded in the 300 block of Date St. prompted Hillsboro fire to be called to the scene. Dispatchers told firefighters that the reporting party said they had most of the fire out by the time they called.
