6:45 a.m. — After a medical response alert system was unable to reach the a client, Peabody ambulance and Florence as first response were called to the 100 block of Wagon Wheel St.
11:52 a.m. — A man who had fallen in the 400 block of N. Ash St. in Hillsboro was checked by Marion ambulance, but did not require transportation.
1:32 p.m. — A teenanger having a seizure in an alley near Hillsboro High School did not require transportation. Hillsboro as first response and Marion ambulance were both called to the scene.
2:17 p.m. — Peabody ambulance traveled to Newton Medical Center to transfer a person back to Peabody.
5:37 p.m. — An elderly woman who had fallen in the 400 block of N. Spruce St. was checked by Peabody ambulance, but was not transported.
12:16 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was put on standby for a possible suicidal subject. The ambulance was told they could leave at 2:02 a.m. after they were still trying to locate the subject, but offered to continue help look.
10:54 a.m. — A person with weakness was taken from the 400 block of Briarwood Ln. in Hillsboro to Hillsboro Community Hospital by Marion ambulance.
1:15 p.m. — Hillsboro fire was called to 110th and Indigo Rds. for a fire in a ditch. Peabody fire was initially called, but had no responders.
7:54 p.m. — Peabody fire was called to Peabody Care Center for a general alarm going off in the facility. Peabody fire believed it was a wire malfunction.
3:56 p.m. — Goessel fire was called to an unknown fire two miles northwest of Goessel. It ended up being a controlled burn that Goessel fire stayed for.
6:57 p.m. — Durham fire responded to a brush fire east of the Coop building. Units were clear of scene at 7:36 p.m.
10:55 a.m. — A one-vehicle rollover accident on 20th Rd. west of US-77 sent one woman to Susan B. Anthony Hospital in El Dorado via Peabody ambulance. Burns fire, Burns first response, and Florence rescue also were called to the scene. Air lifting assistance was paged but then canceled.
2:09 p.m. — A large grass fire was reported at 260th and Indigo Rds. Durham fire was called to the scene. Durham fire was reported as back in the station at 3:13 p.m.
2:49 p.m. — A grass fire was reported at 60th and Old Mill Rds. Peabody fire responded to the scene.
4:55 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to 501 N. Vine St. after an alarm company called dispatchers saying they were unable to make contact after someone pushed a button. Transportation was not specified.
6:43 p.m. — A one-vehicle roll-over accident on 190th Rd. east of US-77 sent one person to St. Luke via Marion ambulance. Marion rescue and Marion fire were also called to the scene.
9:04 p.m. — A man in his 60s who was not feeling well was transported from the 400 block of N. Vine St. by Peabody ambulance. Peabody ambulance told dispatchers they would need Newton ALS. They met with a Newton paramedic and went on to Newton Medical.
1:47 p.m. — Florence fire and Peabody fire responded to a grass fire at 110th Rd. between Vista Rd. and US-77. Marion fire also was called for mutual aid.
2:21 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was called to the Tabor College women’s dorms for an 18-year-old female behind a dorm who reportedly had been drinking. No transportation was provided.
8:16 a.m. — A railroad company called dispatchers to say they witnessed a white SUV hit a concrete barrier a quarter mile west of 110th and Old Mill Rds. Peabody ambulance, Peabody rescue, and Peabody fire were called to the scene, but found out it was a railroad supervisor who had pulled to the side of the road, and no accident had occurred.
8:42 p.m. — A diabetic man who was convulsing due to blood sugar issues was transported by Marion ambulance from the 400 block of S. 4th St. to St. Luke.
10:18 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to Hilltop Manor for a woman whose foot was swelling after a fall that happened earlier that morning. She was transported to St. Luke.
4:12 p.m. — Marion fire responded to 1729 Upland Rd. for a possible carbon monoxide leak. Marion ambulance also responded to the scene, but no transportation was provided.
5:47 p.m. — All available fire units were asked to respond to Reno County for a large wildfire that had broken out near Hutchinson.
8:19 a.m. — A man with respiratory issues was transported by Marion ambulance from Peabody Health and Rehab to Newton Medical. Marion was then diverted from Newton Medical to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
11:49 a.m. — Marion fire was called to US-56 and Eisenhower Rd. for a grass fire.
1:14 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a cancer patient from Westview Manor in Peabody to St. Luke.
1:47 p.m. — A man who had fallen in Lanning Pharmacy in Marion was assisted by a Marion first responder. Florence ambulance was called to the scene but were dismissed when the patient refused transport.
3:22 p.m. — A person reported that a fire was two feet away from a camper in the 500 block of E. 2nd St. in Peabody. Peabody fire and Florence fire both responded to the scene.
6:02 p.m. — A person was reported as pinned after a one-vehicle roll-over accident on Eagle Rd. between 130th and 140th Rds. Marion ambulance, Hillsboro as first response, and Goessel fire were called to the scene. The person was transported to Newton Medical.
6:47 p.m. — A grass fire and sparks were reported on Main St. near the train tracks in Marion. Marion fire was called. Dispatchers told Marion fire the reporting person also said there was a fire on Santa Fe St. near the tracks, but that they were able to put it out.
7:07 p.m. — Transportation to Newton Medical was requested for two patients at Peabody Health and Rehab. Peabody ambulance responded and met with Hillsboro ambulance at US-50 and Indigo Rd. on the way to Newton.
