According to fire and ambulance transmissions monitored by the newspaper:

July 5

1:57 a.m. — Peabody ambulance traveled to Wesley Medical Center for unspecified reasons.

2:56 a.m. — Florence ambulance was called to the US-50/77 roundabout for assistance with a man running around. He was transported to St. Luke.

3:25 a.m. — Tampa ambulance was dispatched to Westview Manor in Peabody for a patient who was said to be unconscious but breathing. After Tampa EMTs asked whether any other EMTs were closer, one EMT from Marion and one from Hillsboro were dispatched to what was described by a different dispatcher as a patient with a pulse but not breathing. Hillsboro ambulance arrived at 3:54 a.m. and the patient ended up being transported to Newton Medical by Peabody ambulance which by then had returned from its earlier run.

4:21 a.m. — Florence ambulance transferred a patient from the 400 block of N. Locust St. in Peabody to Newton Medical.

3:54 p.m. — Tampa ambulance performed a basic-life-support transfer from Hillsboro Community Hospital to Kansas Heart Hospital.

5:23 p.m. — Marion firefighters responded to 170th Rd. between Nighthawk and Old Mill Rd. for a Jeep on fire in a driveway.

9:40 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a man having extreme stomach pains from the 600 block of E 1st St to HCH.

July 6

11:37 a.m. — Peabody ambulance was dispatched to a domestic disturbance in Peabody, but the call was canceled.

5:41 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a patient to St. Luke from a one-vehicle accident at 190th and Pawnee Rds.

8:26 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Wesley Medical.

10:02 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported to Newton Medical a Bethesda Home resident unable to bear any weight.

Thursday

2:12 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from Newton Medical to Bethesda Home.

5:32 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from Newton Medical to Westview Manor.

friday

1:02 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to McPherson Hospital.

3:40 p.m. — Marion ambulance, rescue, and fire, and Florence ambulance responded to the curve on Coble Rd. just south of Marion for a one vehicle rollover accident involving five people. Individuals were transported to St. Luke.

5:40 p.m. — Marion ambulance, rescue, and fire responded to 190th and Old Mill Rd. for a one-vehicle rollover. A patient was transported to St. Luke.

11:12 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported to HCH a person who had been reportedly had been drinking while taking blood pressure pills at 250th and Bison Rds.

Saturday

2:24 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from HCH to Wichita.

9:26 a.m. — Goessel fire was called to Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church on K-15 for a false fire alarm.

4:04 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported to HCH a man in his 70s who had fallen at Parkside Homes.

5:36 p.m. — Florence ambulance transported to St. Luke a woman in her 60s with a possible broken arm in the 200 block of W. 11th St.

SUNDAY

12:15 p.m. — Peabody ambulance was en route to Newton Medical for unspecified reasons.

1:46 p.m. — Tampa ambulance and Linconville first response responded to the 500 block of Topeka St. in Lincolnville for a woman in her 70s who had been having seizures. She was transported to St. Luke.

2:09 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance performed an advanced-life-support transfer from St. Luke to Wesley.

monday

10:09 a.m. — Marion fire was dispatched to a power line arching near Remington and 190th Rds.

11:18 a.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to McPherson.
