DEC. 8
8:41 a.m. — Goessel first responders and Hillsboro ambulance responded to a home on K-15 south of 150th Rd. for a man who had fallen and needed assistance getting up.
DEC. 9
2:35 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman in her 80s who was complaining of numbness in her right arm from the 600 block of N. Main St. to Hillsboro Community Hospital.
7:19 a.m. — Tampa ambulance responded to the 400 block of Columbus St. for a woman in her 50s who needed transportation to the hospital. She was transported to HCH.
12:02 p.m. — Peabody fire was paged to the intersection of US-50 and Indigo Rd., but were later dismissed after dispatchers said it was a controlled burn.
4:22 p.m. — Goessel fire responded to Alamo Rd. between 160th and 120th Rds. for a grass fire.
THURSDAY
12:54 a.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a woman who had fallen from the 700 block of Elm St. to Newton Medical Center.
7:23 a.m. — Marion ambulance and Marion fire responded to Santa Fe Apartments after a person reported a girl climbing up a chimney and onto the roof. They were released from the scene after no girl was found.
2:09 p.m. — Lost Springs fire responded to south of 330th and Wagon Wheel Rd. for a fire in a ditch.
5:23 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to HCH for a basic-life-support transfer to Newton Medical.
6:20 p.m. — Marion ambulance and Marion fire were put on standby per law enforcement request for the 1500 block of Billings St. Law enforcement then requested bolt cutters and pryers.

3:47 a.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Newton Medical Center.
10:56 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transferred a woman who fell and was bleeding from the head from Peabody Health and Rehab to Newton Medical.

3:50 a.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to the 200 block of N. Jefferson St. after someone reported smelling gas coming from inside a house and a loud noise coming from under the home. Hillsboro fire diagnosed the problem and turned the gas off.
6:36 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to Peabody Health and Rehab Center for a man with congestion and low oxygen. He was transported to Newton Medical.
9:23 a.m. — Peabody ambulance was called to Peabody Health and Rehab for a man in his 60s coughing up blood.
1:47 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the area of 6th and Oliver Sts. where a man was slumped over on the steering wheel of his truck. The patient refused transport, so Peabody was dismissed.
3:07 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 1500 block of Victory Ln. for a woman who had fallen and could not get up. The woman was not transported.
7:19 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 300 block of N. Jefferson St. for a woman with a racing heart and clamminess. She was transported to HCH.
7:50 p.m. — Florence ambulance responded to the 600 block of Main St. for a man who was confused as to where he lived and tried to take a vehicle from another residence. Transportation was not specified.

12:08 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 100 block of Sycamore St. for a woman who was needing to be checked out. The woman refused transport, so Peabody was dismissed.
2:08 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 1100 block of Denver St. for a man having chest pains. He was transported to St. Luke.
2:11 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a patient from Parkside Homes to a residence on Eagle Rd. between 120th and 110th Rds.
2:18 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a male having chest pains from the 400 block of N. Walnut St. to Newton Medical.
3:48 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita.
9:52 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 300 block of N. Jefferson St. for a woman who was in and out of consciousness. She was transported to HCH.

Possession of methamphetamines
Ricky Boaldin, 25, of Marion, was arrested Dec. 3 on charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia when a vehicle he was in was initially stopped for speeding in the 1000 block of N. Cedar St. at 9:08 p.m.
Police said approximately 0.6 grams of methamphetamines were confiscated after a canine search. Two glass pipes and a glass mirror also were confiscated.
In his report, officer Lee Vogel indicated two people were arrested, both of whom were suspected of using methamphetamines. However, Marion County Jail roster shows that Boaldin was the only person arrested on possession of controlled substance and possession of methamphetamines that day.
Criminal damage to property
Heather Looney, 24, of Marion, reported $25 dollars of damage to five decorated pumpkins at 8:20 a.m. Dec. 5 after an unnamed person allegedly trespassed, yelled, pounded on her door, and finally left damaging her pumpkins at 516 S. 3rd St.
The unnamed person faces charges of criminal damage to property, criminal trespassing, and disorderly conduct.
Burglary
A Marion resident was arrested on charges of burglary, theft, and possession of drugs at 5:46 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Billings St. after two witnesses told police that the suspect had allegedly stolen items that belonged to the City of Marion that were stored at their house.
Officer Duane McCarty obtained a search warrant when he noticed items under the suspect’s porch that matched the witnesses’ descriptions. In his report, he said a second search warrant was issued when drug paraphernalia was observed “in plain view” inside of the suspect’s residence while officers were attempting to locate other items that belonged to the City of Marion.
Police recovered eight empty five-gallon containers for hydrogen peroxide, one five-gallon container of hydrogen peroxide, one container of powdered chloride, one syringe in a black sheath, a green pill bottle and small baggies allegedly with meth residue, a cell phone, three prescription pill bottles with unknown pills inside, all with an estimated value of $137.
