According to fire and ambulance transmissions, monitored by the newspaper:

Sept. 15

11:12 a.m. — Marion ambulance and Marion fire were called to help search for a missing man from near Highland and Cedar Sts. He was found within an hour, and transported to St. Luke Hospital.

1:42 p.m. — Florence ambulance and first responders responded to the 100 block of S. Washington St. for a woman who fell down stairs in the morning and was still in pain. She was transported to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.

5:06 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred an advance-life-support patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital to Salina Regional Health Center.

6:13 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 200 block of S. Adams St. in Hillsboro for a woman in her 30s whose eyes were swollen shut. She was transported to HCH by private vehicle.

8:36 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to Peabody Health and Rehab for a man in his 40s with right-side paralysis who had fallen and was complaining of hip pain.

9:21 p.m. — Florence ambulance and Burns first responders were called to the 200 block of W. Main St. in Burns for a woman who was in labor. Dispatchers then told responding units that the woman was being transported by a private vehicle to an unknown hospital.

10:55 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to Bethesda Homes for a nonresident woman in her 70s who called in having chest pains. She was transported to Newton Medical Center.

11:47 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 100 block of W. Santa Fe St. for a domestic problem. A woman reportedly had her shoulder punched out of place by a man who was no longer at the location, but she put it back in place. She was not transported.

Sept. 16

4:13 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was called to Container Services for stand-by for a man who was climbing the silo and was possibly suicidal. The ambulance was dismissed by an officer on scene.

6:56 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 700 block of W. Elm St. for a woman in her 80s who had slipped and was complaining of leg pain. She was transported to Newton Medical.

THURSDAY

12:09 a.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to Tabor College for a fire alarm going off in the townhouses. Hillsboro fire successfully reset the alarm.

12:24 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to HCH for a transfer to Newton Medical.

5:14 p.m. — Burns first responders and Florence ambulance responded to the 100 block of S. Nickerson St. for a woman who had fallen. She was transported to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.

Friday

9:07 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred an ALS patient in their 50s from St. Luke to Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita for a reported drug overdose.

9:51 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a basic-life-support patient from HCH to Via Christi St. Francis.

Saturday

10:27 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was called to the corner of A and Grand Sts. for a woman in her 50s who fell and possibly broke her arm. She was transported to HCH.

2:10 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to Lumberyard Inc. for someone who bumped their head. The person was not transported.

2:32 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance called dispatchers asking for someone with a Gater all terrain vehicle to help a lady to her vehicle from the Arts and Crafts fair.

3:49 p.m. — Florence ambulance responded to the 100 block of E. 9th St. for a woman in her 60s who was having difficulty breathing. It was not specified whether the woman was transported.

3:53 p.m. — Marion ambulance was called to perform an ALS transfer from St. Luke to St. Francis. Marion was not equipped for an ALS transfer, so Peabody responded.

5:52 p.m. — Tampa ambulance responded to 500 block of N. Main St. in Ramona for a woman who had been struck by a vehicle and reportedly had an injury on her lower calf and ankle. The woman refused transportation, so Tampa was dismissed.

Monday

4:35 p.m. — Tampa ambulance and Tampa first responders were called to the 700 block of Lawrence Ave. in Durham for a woman having difficulty breathing. She was transported to HCH.

6:37 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to HCH for an ALS transfer to Newton Medical.

Fuel theft

Jerry Hanson, 43, Lincolnville, reported that between 3 a.m. and 2:46 p.m. Sept. 12, $15 worth of gasoline went missing from his residence in the 400 block of Lombard St. Police reported signs of force were evident.

Hillsboro

Vehicle theft

Ashley Lutchka, 21, of Hillsboro, allegedly took car keys from an unlocked garage and stole a 1991 Buick LeSabre, valued at $500, from a home in the 200 block of S. Birch St.

The Buick was later recovered by the Kansas Highway Patrol at milepost 9 on I-135. Lutchka was arrested for vehicle theft and burglary.

Marion

Disorderly conduct

A woman was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct for becoming verbally abusive after police allegedly warned her to “maintain civility” at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 7. She was reportedly retrieving personal items from her ex-boyfriend’s house in the 600 block of Sherman St.

No name was given in the official offense report. However, county jail roster shows that Marion police booked Tasha Erb, 21, of Moundridge, on Sept. 7 on charges of disorderly conduct.

Battery of law enforcement officer

A man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, pedestrian under the influence, interference with a law enforcement officer, and battery of a law enforcement officer at 7:25 p.m. Sept. 6 in the 600 block of Sherman St. Police reports indicated that the man used a personal weapon to assault officer Lee Vogel. Reports also said the man was suspected of using drugs and alcohol.

No name for the offender was given on the official offense report. However, Aaron Unruh, 36, of Marion, was booked into county jail on Sept.6 by Marion police on charges of battery of law enforcement officer.
