According to fire and ambulance transmissions, monitored by the newspaper:

JUNE 9

3:02 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital to Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita.

JUNE 10

12:44 p.m. — Peabody ambulance and Florence first responders were called to the 100th block of W. 5th St., Florence, but did not transport a man in his 50s who complained of difficulty breathing.

2:59 p.m. — Peabody ambulance provided advanced life-support transfer from St. Luke to Via Christi-St. Joseph in Wichita.

5:34 p.m. — Goessel first responders helped a person who seemed dehydrated at the Goessel fire station.

JUNE 11

1:09 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was called to US-56 two miles west of Lehigh for a driver who may have suffered a stroke. However, a passenger opted to drive him to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

6:35 p.m. — Burns firefighters were called to Burns Café for a possible gas leak, but found none.

7:02 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was sent to Salem Apartments in Hillsboro for a resident who had difficulty breathing, but reported the patient had walked to Hillsboro Community Hospital on her own.

JUNE 12

1:46 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported to St. Luke from the 1500 block of E. 59th Rd. a female subject who was having extreme back pain.

5:08 p.m. — After Marion ambulance was unable to take the call, Peabody ambulance provided advanced life-support transfer from St. Luke to Galichia Heart Hospital in Wichita.

7:29 p.m. — After Hillsboro ambulance was unable to take the call, Marion ambulance provided cardiac advanced-life support transport from Hillsboro Community Hospital to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

JUNE 13

12:57 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a woman who was throwing up and had pain in her side from the 100 block of S. Washington St., Burns, to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado. Burns first responders were also summoned.

3:18 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported to Newton Medical Center a male in his 70s suffering from apparent chest pains in the 600 block of E. Marion St. in Goessel. Goessel first responders also were summoned.

7:25 p.m. — Florence firefighters responded to the US-50/77 roundabout as a precaution after a non-injury accident.

10:30 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St., Marion, but apparently did not transport a woman in her 70s who complained of shortness of breath.

JUNE 14

8:37 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported a teenage male to St. Luke hospital after he fell off a motocross bike and reported severe pain in his lower back.

9:25 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported from Hilltop Manor to St. Luke a female in her 70s who had been ill for a week.

11:58 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported to St. Luke for a man in his 80s who suffered a possible stroke near Ulysses Rd. and 250th St.

3:32 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a patient from St. Luke to Newton Medical Center.

5:16 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was sent to the 300 block of S. Coble St. in Marion for a male having a possible diabetic reaction. The patient was feeling fine when they arrived. Marion first responders were also on scene.

6:08 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Wesley.

7:15 p.m. — Peabody ambulance made an advanced-life support transport from HCH to Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita.

Monday

12:17 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to Hilltop Apartments for a male whos oxygen tank stopped working, but the tank company repaired it.

4:01 a.m. — Peabody firefighters responded to near Mustang and 60th Rds. for a vehicle stuck in floodwaters. The female driver was rescued. The car will remain on the bridge until the water recedes.

7:43 a.m. — Goessel firefighters were dispatched to Goessel Elementary School for a false alarm.

7:59 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took to Newton Medical Center a man who was having difficulty breathing in the 800 block of N. Poplar St.
