12:26 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman who fell at Bethesda Homes to Newton Medical Center.

1:35 a.m. — Hillsboro firefighters responded to an alarm triggered by burned popcorn at Dakota Hall at Tabor College.

9:01 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 600 block of Walnut St. in Peabody for a woman in her 80s with slurred speech and difficulty speaking.

7:05 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance reported it was en route to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

8:21 a.m. — A man in his 20s with a lacerated hand was transported by Peabody ambulance from the 600 block of N. Elm St. to Newton Medical Center.

8:58 a.m. — Goessel firefighters were dispatched to Goessel Elementary School for a fire alarm. The call was terminated at 8:59 a.m. when a firefighter reported the school was having a fire drill.

9:25 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance provided lifting assistance in the 300 block of N. Lincoln St.

2:35 p.m. — A woman in her 80s who fell and was complaining of hip pain was transported by Tampa ambulance from Diamond Rd. between 300th and 310th Rds. to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

6:33 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance reported it was at Newton Medical Center.

10:38 a.m. — A woman in her 80s who fell was transported by Marion ambulance from Marion Assisted Living to St. Luke Hospital.

12:15 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

8:44 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to Hilltop Manor for a man with COPD experiencing breathing difficulties. The man was not transported.

friday

1:23 a.m. — A man in his 60s with breathing difficulties was transported by Peabody ambulance from the 600 block of Sycamore St. to Newton Medical Center.

saturday

2:46 a.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Newton Medical Center.

8:25 a.m. — Marion firefighters responded to an electric line sparking at the intersection of Lincoln and Nickerson Sts.

2:20 p.m. — Peabody ambulance was dispatched to the 800 block of Chestnut St. in response to a report by a relative that a teenager had ingested some fluid that was harmful. Upon arrival, EMTs determined the teen had not ingested anything and returned to base.

10:17 p.m. — Peabody firefighters were dispatched for a car in a ditch on Nighthawk Rd. north of Peabody. At 10:19 p.m., a sheriff’s deputy advised the response be canceled and requested a tow truck.

8:54 a.m. — Marion ambulance was dispatched to the 200 block of N. Freeborn St. for a woman in her 90s with breathing difficulties. EMTs reported the woman would take a private vehicle to St. Luke.

1:43 p.m. — Goessel firefighters responded to a report of a backyard fire in the 100 block of S. Cedar St. The fire was discovered to be a controlled burn in a burn pit.

7:51 p.m. — Florence firefighters provided traffic control at the US-50/77 roundabout in response to a semi trailer than had stalled and was blocking the roundabout.

monday

12:04 p.m. — Marion ambulance was dispatched to the1500 block of E. Main St. for a woman with breathing difficulties.

2:41 p.m. — Peabody ambulance provided advanced-life-support transport of a patient from St. Luke to Galicia Heart Hospital in Wichita.

9:35 p.m. — Burns firefighters responded to a brush fire that was threatening an outbuilding in the vicinity of NW 150th and NW Diamond Rds. in Butler County.
