JUNE 17

4:51 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported an ill woman in her 80s from the 1900 block of Old Mill Rd. to St. Luke Hospital.

JUNE 18

9:17 a.m. — Tampa firefighters were dispatched to a fire, the location and nature of which were garbled.

10:09 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a 92-year-old woman with chest pains from Parkside Homes to Hillsboro Community Hospital. Firefighters were summoned for lifting assistance.

12:50 p.m. — Burns rural fire responded to the 300 block of Church St. in Burns for a seizure patient who was transported by El Dorado ambulance.

4:12 p.m. — One EMT with the Florence ambulance and one from Marion responded to but did not transport a patient who reportedly suffered a seizure in the 2300 block of 140th Rd.

4:20 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported to St. Luke Hospital a 77-year-old man who became dizzy and fell while at Animal Health Center, 119 S. Coble St.

4:59 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was dispatched to a boy who fell off a playground slide at Memorial Park. The boy’s mother took the child to Hillsboro Community.

7:07 p.m. — Hillsboro EMTs and firefighters were called to help lift but not transport a 44-year-old who fell in the 400 block of W. B St.

THURSDAY

9:05 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a possible stroke victim from a home west of K-15 on 110th Rd. to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis, Wichita. Goessel first responders also were dispatched.

11 a.m. — Florence fire responded to reports of a gasoline spill at Johnson’s General Store.

3:57 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported from Parkside Homes to Hillsboro Community a woman in her 80s who fell from a beautician’s chair.

5:11 p.m. — Marion ambulance was asked by St. Luke Hospital to transport a patient suffering from vomiting and low potassium from the 500 block of N. Coble St. to Newton Medical.

8:10 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a 19-year-old who overdosed on over-the-counter medicine from 500 block of N. Cedar St. to St. Luke.

9:40 p.m. — Marion ambulance was dispatched to Marion County Jail for a report of a possible fall, but no patient was transported.

FRIDAY

11:12 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported from Parkside Assisted Living to Hillsboro Community an 89-year-old man who fell in the street and hit his head.

12:02 p.m. — Marion ambulance was dispatched to the 400 block of Locust St. but did not transport a 17-year-old who reportedly was suffering a seizure.

1:06 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from Hillsboro Community to St. Francis.

3:12 p.m. — After some confusion over the location, Marion ambulance was dispatched to a residence south of 210th Rd. on Yarrow Rd. to transport to St. Luke a 77-year-old man who failed to awaken after surgery. The ambulance departed for the hospital with the patient, whose condition was reported to be life threatening, at 3:43 p.m.

8:07 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters and EMTs were dispatched to what appeared to be a field fire, the location of which was garbled.

9 p.m. — Marion ambulance was again dispatched to the 400 block of Locust St. and this time transported to St. Luke a 17-year-old who reportedly was suffering a seizure.

SATURDAY

12:41 a.m. — As they were on June 18, Hillsboro EMTs again were summoned to the same address in the 400 block of W. B St. to help lift, but not transport, a patient who had fallen.

5:17 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Buller St. in Goessel for a 23-year-old man with difficulty breathing. Goessel first responders also was dispatched, but no responders were available. The ambulance arrived at 5:41 a.m. and, at 5:58 a.m., transported the patient to Newton Medical, arriving at 6:11 a.m.

10:03 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and firefighters provided lifting assistance but no transportation for someone who fell out of a wheelchair and hurt his knees in the parking lot of the USD 410 school district office.

SUNDAY

3:12 p.m. — Marion firefighters were dispatched to a grass fire near 220th and Pawnee Rds. They remained on the scene until 3:40 p.m.

MONDAY

9:03 a.m. — Peabody ambulance transported to Newton Medical a woman who was dizzy and unable to get out of bed in 300 block of N. Maple St.

8:39 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took an 88-year-old man who fell at Parkside Homes to Hillsboro Community.
