3:45 a.m. — Marion ambulance took a woman whose face and hair were burned after her oxygen tank caught fire while she was smoking from the 1100 block of Denver St. to St. Luke Hospital then to Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita.

4:31 p.m. — Hillsboro fire and ambulance responded to a barn fire along K-15 4 miles north of U.S. 56.

Sept. 4

3:38 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to a false fire alarm at Tabor College townhomes. The source was food that had been overcooked.

5:18 p.m. — Hillsboro fire and ambulance responded to a controlled burn that got out of control on 230th Rd. between Holly and Indigo Rds.

8:56 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a woman who had a possible broken hip from Parkside Homes to Hillsboro Community Hospital then to Newton Medical Center.

Thursday

9:30 a.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Galichia Heart Hospital in Wichita.

12:40 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took a patient in his or her 70s with possible dehydration from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical.

2:09 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took a man in his 60s with a possible heart attack from the 600 block of Walnut St. to Newton Medical.

6:24 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took a woman in her 30s who passed out from the 800 block of N. Walnut St. to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

8:47 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to Mustang Rd. between 50th and 60th Rds. for a girl who fell and hit her head. The patient refused transport.

Friday

2:36 a.m. — Peabody ambulance took a woman in her 90s bleeding from her mouth from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical.

6:12 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man in his 80s vomiting blood from Grand Oaks Apartments to HCH.

10:26 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance made an advanced life support transfer from HCH to Newton Medical.

11:03 a.m. — Marion ambulance made an advanced life support transfer from HCH to Via Christi-St. Francis. Peabody ambulance was called but unavailable.

8:12 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Wesley Medical.

Saturday

12:41 a.m. — Hillsboro fire and ambulance responded to a fire alarm at the Tabor College student center. Smoke was found in the basement and the source was dealt with. Another alarm at Madison and D Sts. was a false alarm.

7:16 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a pregnant woman who had a seizure from Bethesda Home to Newton Medical. Goessel first response also responded.

9:27 a.m. — Marion ambulance took a woman who fell and had shoulder pain from Hilltop Manor to St. Luke.

12:59 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.

2:15 p.m. — Hillsboro fire and ambulance responded to a controlled fire that got out of control on 150th Rd. between Goldenrod and Holly Rds. The call was canceled when the owners got the fire back under control.

Sunday

3:39 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took an infant who had a seizure from the 200 block of S. Washington St. to HCH.

4:52 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 600 block of N. Walnut St. for a woman with atrial fibrillation and difficulty breathing. The patient refused transport.

Monday

2:57 a.m. — Tampa ambulance took a man in his 70s with difficulty breathing from the 100 block of W. 6th St. in Lincolnville to St. Luke. Lincolnville first response also responded.

5:16 p.m. — Marion fire responded to a hedgerow fire at Quail Creek Rd. between 150th and 160th Rds.
