8:06 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a woman in her 50s with chest pains from 120th Road between K-15 and Chisholm Trail to Newton Medical Center.

11:03 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man in his 20s with a severe migraine from the 200 block of East Kansas Street to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

July 17

12:51 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance made an emergency transfer from HCH to Via Christi-St. Francis.

4:49 p.m. — Marion fire responded to a wheat stubble fire, possibly set by lightning, west of 210th and Quail Creek roads.

Thursday

5:20 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a woman in her 90s who fell in the 100 block of South Main Street to HCH.

6:12 p.m. — Peabody fire responded to a hay bale fire on Quail Creek between 120th and 130th roads. Marion fire provided mutual aid.

Friday

7:07 p.m. — Peabody fire and ambulance responded to a vehicle fire near 60th and Old Mill roads.

8:45 p.m. — Marion fire responded to a ditch fire caused by fireworks in the 1200 block of Commercial Drive.

9:21 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance made an emergency transfer from HCH to Newton Medical.

Saturday

9:25 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man in his 80s with possible diabetic problems from the 400 block of North Briarwood Lane to HCH. Hillsboro fire provided assisted with lifting.

9:26 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to a person lying in a ditch along U.S. 56/77 south of Lincolnville when Lincolnville first response was unavailable. It was a sleeping hitchhiker. Ambulance workers checked the man and gave him a ride to Marion. An ambulance worker then gave the hitchhiker a ride to Florence in a personal vehicle.

1:04 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance made an emergency advanced life-support transfer from HCH to Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita. A nurse from HCH road with the ambulance.

5:37 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a woman in her 80s from Parkside Homes to HCH.

9:59 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took a patient from the 600 block of Chestnut Street to Newton Medical.

Sunday

12:47 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man in his 80s with abdominal pain from Parkside Homes to HCH.

5:11 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance made an emergency transfer from HCH to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
