May 21

11:27 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man in his 80s who was very weak and unable to stand up from the 400 block of Briarwood Lane to Hillsboro Community Hospital. Hillsboro Fire Department provided lifting assistance.

12:03 p.m. — Marion ambulance made an emergency transfer from St. Luke Hospital to McPherson Hospital.

12:35 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a woman with right-side weakness from the 1500 block of East Main Street in Marion to St. Luke.

9:47 p.m. — Peabody ambulance made an advanced-life-support transfer from HCH to Via Christi-St. Francis for a woman in her 50s with chest pain.

May 22

12:54 p.m. — Marion Fire Department responded to a gas leak on Tanglewood Drive. Another gas meter was hit in the 200 block of Vine Street at 12:59.

Thursday

9:30 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 100 block of 90th Road for a medical alert. No transport was made.

9:06 p.m. — Marion ambulance, Marion Fire Department, and Marion rescue responded to a car accident on U.S. 77 north of K-256. No transport was made.

10:36 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man with chest pain from the 100 block of West Marion Street in Goessel to Newton Medical Center. Goessel first response also responded.

Friday

No dispatches.

Saturday

4:52 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to a man in a ditch ¼ mile west of Hillsboro on U.S. 56. No transport was made.

7:14 p.m. — Peabody Fire Department responded to the 200 block of North Sycamore Street for a residential fire alarm. A smoke alarm went off during cooking; there was no fire.

7:52 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a man in his 80s with prostate problems from an RV pulled off on U.S. 77 3 miles south of Lincolnville to St. Luke. Lincolnville first response provided a second responder when Marion ambulance had only one responder.

Sunday

6:48 a.m. — Marion ambulance took a man in his 80s with diabetes who was feeling weak from the 1800 block of 275th in Pilsen to St. Luke. Lincolnville first response also responded.

4:09 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took a man in his 40s who had a tree fall on him when he cut it down from the 400 block of North Sycamore Street to Newton Medical.

7:31 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took a man who was found unconscious from an alley in the 600 block of 5th Street to St. Luke.

8:47 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to a domestic disturbance with law enforcement on the scene 500 block of North Elm Street. The ambulance took a patient to Newton Medical.

9:21 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a woman in her 40s who fell out of bed and hit her face from Peabody Care Center to Wesley Medical Center. Florence ambulance was initially called but didn’t have a second responder.

Monday

3:41 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a man who was very dehydrated from the 200 block of North Coble Street to St. Luke.

8:33 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita.
