Ella Dick, 89, died Aug. 6 at Salem Home in Hillsboro.

She was a homemaker.

She was born Aug. 8, 1921, to Michael and Lena (Muth) Brown in Newrockford, N.D.

She married Richard Dick on Nov. 8, 1937, in Durham. They were members of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and by a brother, Abed Brown.

She is survived by two sons, Gaylord Dick of Towanda and Doug Dick of Hillsboro; two daughters, Norma Schmidt of Newton and Michelle Kersten of Hillsboro; a brother, Levi Brown of Hillsboro; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was Tuesday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Services were 10 a.m. today at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church. Burial will be at Durham Park Cemetery.
