Marie Clark’s brother, Bruce Ehmke, of Ohio, arrived at Marie’s on Oct. 1. Tim Foster and Jim Green brought him from Ohio. On Oct. 3, his visitors included Martin and Peggy Van der Weg, Jen Stucky, and Larry and Diane Nelson. Mack Clark stopped by several times to visit during Ehmke’s stay.

Marie and her guests took a road trip Oct. 4 to western Kansas where they used to live. The group from Ohio left Oct. 6.

Ronnie and Patti Gaines went to Madison the afternoon of Sept. 29. They spent the afternoon and evening visiting with Ty and Kim Gaines, Brooke, and new grandson, Gunnar.

Rusty Gaines visited his parents Oct. 1.

Friends and family attended Howard Goering’s funeral Oct. 1 at Burns Countryside Church.

Oct. 2 inner guests of Greg and Zeola Langenegger were Mary and Gary Langenegger, Eddie and Trish Niemczyk, Justin Curiel and grandchildren, Mia and Kaden Newfield, and Joyce Kyle.

Twenty-six flu shots were given to Burns residents Oct. 3 at Burns Community Center.
