Edna Reimer, 84, of Goessel, died Aug. 18 at Bethesda Home in Goessel. She was born March 21, 1927.

She married Irvin Reimer Aug. 22, 1946, in Hillsboro. She was a homemaker.

Reimer was preceded in death by her parents Abraham Friesen and Susanna (Penner) Friesen and an infant daughter, Suzanne Marie Reimer.

She is survived by her husband of Goessel son Howard of Ritzville, Wash. Other survivors include her brother Alvin Friesen of Hesston, and sisters Evelyn Harms of Moundridge and Linda Bartel of American Falls, Idaho, and one grandchild.

Visitation was Tuesday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

A funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, Goessel. Pastor Steve Schmidt will officiate. A memorial fund has been established with Bethesda Home. Condolences may be sent to the family at jost@jostfuneralhome.com.
