Dorothy Marie Horsch, 84, of Manhattan, formerly of Marion, died Nov. 15 at Via Christi Health Center, Manhattan.

She was born July 14, 1932, to James Phillip and Mabel Frances (Leger) Callahan in Manhattan. She attended Msgr. Luckey High School, and graduated from Marymount College, Salina, with a bachelor’s in chemistry. She worked as a medical technician at St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita.

She married Marcellus Horsch on Feb. 21, 1955; he preceded her in death in 1987. In 1992, she married Glenn Morgan; he died in 1993. Three brothers, Robert Callahan, Dick Callahan, and Bernard Callahan, and one sister, Frances Erdwien, also preceded her.

She is survived by daughters, Mary Tritsch of Topeka and Julie Sterling, of Frisco, Texas; sons, Mike Horsch of Lewisville, Texas; Tim Horsch of Waukee, Iowa; and Dan Horsch of Overland Park; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was Saturday, at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Manhattan, with interment in Sunrise Cemetery, Manhattan.

Memorials have been established for Seven Dolors Budget Shop, Manhattan, and the Parkinson’s Program at Meadowlark Hills.
