Donnie Brooks, 69, retired assembly worker, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, at Peabody Health and Rehab, Peabody.

He was born May 19, 1946, to Harold and Bertha (Friday) Brooks in Newton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Alice (Brooks) Fensky; sister-in-law Sharlene (Brunner) Brooks; niece Patricia Fensky; and great-nephew Austin Pierce.

Survivors include brothers, Daryl and Connie Brooks of Marion, Jon and Esther Brooks and Harold Brooks, all of Peabody; brother-in-law Steven Fensky of Moundridge; and nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8 at the Peabody Christian Church.

Memorials may be given to the Peabody Christian Church or Good Shepherd Hospice.
