Donald Leppke

Donald Ray “Don” Leppke of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away March 3, 2016, in McAlester, Oklahoma, at the age of 61 years.

Donald was born on Feb. 9, 1955, in Marion, Kansas. He was the son of Archie and Irene (Francis) Leppke. He grew up in Hillsboro, Kansas, attending Hillsboro public schools and graduating from Hillsboro High School in 1974. Following his education, he married Phyllis Cherry in Moundridge, Kansas, on June 25, 1977. He worked for CW Realty in maintenance. In 1985, they made their home in Norman.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Phyllis Leppke, of the home; one brother, Terry Leppke of Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Don’s family will be at Primrose Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, to greet friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016, at the Ebenfeld Mennonite Cemetery in Hillsboro, Kansas, with the Reverend Gaylord Goertzen officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenfeld Mennonite Cemetery.
