Donald Beisel

Services for Tampa resident Donald L. Beisel, 76, who died May 30, were June 5 in Herington.

Born July 5, 1941, in Tampa, he was the second of eight children born to Fred and Anna Beisel.

He married Ramona E. Stuchlik on Jan. 2, 1960, in Pilsen. For the past 58 years, they lived in the same house in which he was born. An airplane enthusiast, he obtained a commercial pilot’s license and other certifications.

Survivors include his widow; seven siblings; children Connie Janzen, Alan Beisel, and Tim Beisel; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Two great-grandchildren preceded him in death.

Memorials have been established with Father Kapaun Legacy Fund and the interior restoration of St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, Herington.
