A documentary telling the story of the Kansas-Missouri border during the Civil War will have its premier at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at McPherson Opera House.

“The Road to Valhalla” will feature photographs, interviews, and reenactment footage to illustrate events that describes everything from large battles to guerilla actions along the Kansas-Missouri border.

Buck Taylor, and actor who has appeared in several films including “Tombstone,” “Gettysburg,” and episodes of “Gunsmoke,” narrates the film.

The documentary is the third in a series created by Lone Chimney Films about battles fought in Kansas.
