Marion County democrats met Oct. 5 at Marion Community Center.

Ellen Sieger attended DemoFest in Wichita.

Working the state fair Democratic booth were Sieger, Jackie Volbrecht, Ann Carr, and Jan Helmer.

Local democrats had an entry in the Old Settlers’ Day parade.

Volbrecht held a garage sale to benefit candidate Jo Schwartz.

The group finalized plans for a postcard blitz to get out the vote. There will also be phone contacts.

Next meeting will be the required re-organizational meeting with election of officers on Dec. 1.
