Marion County Democratic Women met Dec. 11 at Hilltop Manor, at which time the group voted to discontinue as part of Kansas Federation of Democratic Women, but continue as local activists. A gift exchange of items purchased from thrift shops was held. A donation was made to the Robert B. Docking Memorial Scholarship Fund in memory of Neysa Eberhard. A book or DVD in her memory also will be placed in Marion City Library.
