Dean R. Glahn, 73, of Gypsum, died Aug. 30 at his home.

Born March 28, 1938, in McPherson to Henry and Gladys (Vermillion) Glahn, he graduated from Roxbury High School in 1955 and served in the U.S. Navy.

On Aug. 25, 1961, he married Mary Ann Knaak in Hillsboro.

He was preceded in death by his son Paul and a sister, Glenna Olson.

Survivors include his wife, of the home, son Gary of Gypsum, daughter Judy Lawson of Salina, brother Dean of McPherson, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.

A funeral was Friday at Roxbury United Parish in Roxbury, with pastor Nancy Modin officiating. Interment was at Valley View Cemetery in Roxbury.
