Summer band, composed of Peabody and Burns students, will play another in a series of summer concerts at 7 p.m. Saturday on the lawn of Peabody Memorial Nursing Home.

Little Michelle Whisler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Whisler, is recovering satisfactorily from having a peanut removed from her lung last Friday.

Elmer Foth caught a giant 8 pound 8 ounce bass at the Rod and Gun Club, but it was still a few ounces less than one caught by his son, Jerry, a few weeks ago.
