Henry Koslowsky was injured Tuesday evening when he was hit by a truck while walking along a road northwest of Peabody. He was rushed to Marion to the hospital. C.K. Mustoe was driving the truck.

Jon Stucky, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Stucky, has completed his junior year at Kansas State Teachers College, Emporia.

Gary Jones, vocational agriculture teacher at Peabody High School, won a month-long grant to study horticulture at the University of Illinois.
