Peabody Bakery Corner in the hotel building closed Saturday night after operating for several months.

Mrs. Warren Watts and Trudi and Sally Ann Ullum of Denver, Colorado, were in Emporia Monday to take Trudi to college.

Peabody students enrolled at Wichita University are Shreves Avery, Bard Bartel, and Carol Gard.
