Peabody got some good news when the new owners of Heckendorn Mfg. decided to consolidate operations at the Peabody plant.

The large Levy home in the 400 block of Walnut is getting a complete coat of paint by the Windsor painters the past couple of weeks.

The first football game of the season will be Clyde-Clifton on Friday night, Aug. 31.
