Beth Gaines, senior at Kansas State University majoring in agriculture education, was selected to serve as president of the National Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow.

The Peabody High School class of 1970 had a reunion during the July 4 celebration and some members of the class lined up for a photo, including Rebecca Ediger, Judy Slocombe Brennan, Del Flaming, and Max Ferguson and son.

Goldie Homan attended the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Don Lambert Sunday at the Red Coach Inn.
