R.D. Sands has disposed of his controlling interest in the Peabody Light Plant, selling it to the Burtons.

A special train will run to Newton today from Peabody at 2 o’clock for the football game between Newton and Peabody. The train will return 45 minutes after the game.

The Fairplay Ladies’ Aid Society will meet at the parsonage Dec. 2 for an all-day meeting.
