Storyteller John Anderson from Kansas City shared stories and songs about canine friends in a presentation, “Brother John’s Dog Days” at asummer reading program Thursday.

Marion County Historical Society will meet for dinner Tuesday at the HUB in Peabody. Don Thomas of Wichita will portray Dr. John Brinkley. He will bring back the days of “Goat Gland Dr. Brinkley.”
