Judy Lee Seibel had a seventh birthday party for her brother, Davie.

The brothers and sisters of W.J. McPheeters were all together for the first time in 30 years. A reunion was held in Seward, Neb.

Women’s Relief Corps had a picnic dinner and played bingo.


Wheraniko Rauel, Hine Taiman, his wife, and little Rose presented in song, story, and picture a most unique and fascinating portrayal of life in the South Sea Islands.

A domestic science lecture and demonstration was given by Miss Meade and Miss Ingham.


A gentleman was seen leading a young red bull through town. He had walked all through the night from Abilene, leading an Imp. Cruickshank bull for an Elwood herd. The bull was from the herd of Amos Cruickshank of Sittyton, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

F.S. Turner moved into Dr. J.M. Miller’s house. Dr. Shomber moved to the residence he bought from A. Homan.
