Keith and Peggy Wattson have been collecting the old and unusual for decades. A year ago, the couple bought a building in Peabody’s historic downtown district and began to concentrate their efforts on opening an antique store of their own, Cameo Rose Antiques.

Don’s Drug Store has a unique display in its sporting goods department these days with what appears to be a mounted four-or-five-pound bass frequently flipping its tail.
A marriage license was issued to James Robert Hett of Marion and Denice Rae Strasser of Peabody.
Kelly Renee Henderson and Brad Laramore were united in marriage June 3 at the Methodist Church in Peabody.

Mrs. John (Cleo) DeForest became the fourth patient in the Peabody Memorial Nursing Home as she was admitted Wednesday after suffering a hip fracture.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pierce returned after a two-week trip to Mexico.
