Ten members of Doyle Valley Market Growers visited Wild Onion Farm near Lawrence. The growers had been invited by Dan Nagengast and his wife, Lynn Bycznski, to look at their operation, which sells vegetables and flowers through a subscription service.
Bayleigh Clark did some baking and watched the stars with LaVonne Ammeter.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Albrecht of Wisconsin were guests of Margaret Jewell.

Mr. and Mrs. Shreves Avery, Gina and Mandy, attended the musical Annie in Century II, Wichita.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hodges are parents of a son, Michael, born June 11 at St. Luke Hospital, Marion. He weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Gillet are parents of a daughter born at St. Luke Hospital. Brenda Joyce weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces.

The young ladies of the FGD Club gave a party at the Davison home in honor of Catherine’s birthday.
Martha Hamilton was taken to Newton and had a finger removed. She is threatened with blood poisoning in her other arm.
W.M. Irwin and family will be moving to Denver. Their sale of household goods occurs next Saturday.
