In the premiere issue of a new literary journal, published by the American Institute of Discussion in Oklahoma City, the works of various writers appear. One of the contributors, the fiction award winner, was Patricia Ketchum of Peabody. Ketchum’s “Goat Story,” won a prize of $100.
Lucille Carson broke the single season scoring record for a player at Cowley County Community College in Arkansas City.
