The Peabody-Burns High School cross country team competed Thursday on its home turf.
The Warriors tallied 74 total points and four top-20 individual finishes.
The boys’ team earned a second-place finish, with Trinity taking first at 33.
Marion was third with 103 and Hesston was fourth with 125 points.
Aaron Topham led the Warriors in the 5K run with a fourth-place finish and time of 18:55.78.
Kendall Wiebe was close behind in sixth with a time of 18:58.60.
Josh Klarmann was 12th with a time of 19:42.79 and Sheldon Wiebe was 14th at 19:53.93.
Seth Methvin ran the course in 21:39.10 and finished 37th.
Jake Middleton was 38th with a time of 21:43.28, while Chris Schafer was 51st with a time of 23:44.34.
Amanda Pickens competed in the 4K junior varsity division and placed 19th with a time of 22:39.36.
Zach Preheim ran the two-mile course for the eighth grade boys and finished 10th with a time of 15:10.
