Eric S. Decker, 51, Tonkawa, Oklahoma, pleaded no contest July 25 to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to a term of probation not specified in court documents. A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed.
Anthony M. Garcia, 31, Haysville, pleaded no contest Sept. 12 to theft. Dismissed was a charge of forgery.
Charges of aggravated battery, interference with law enforcement, endangering a child, criminal restraint, domestic battery, battery, and disorderly conduct formally were filed Sept. 19 against Derek A. Gautschi, 23, Marion.
Twenty-nine additional charges were added Sept. 12 to five original counts of sexual exploitation of a child filed June 15 against Alan E. Overton, 31, Marion. Overton is now charged with 19 counts of sexual exploitation of a child and 15 counts of breach of privacy by eavesdropping. According to the complaint, the eavesdropping charges stem from installing cameras to secretly film another unidentifiable person in a state of undress. Overton waived preliminary hearing Sept. 11.
Kimberly Vanderzanden, 22, Emporia, was sentenced Aug. 8 to 18 months’ drug treatment and ordered to pay $720 for possession of methamphetamine and endangering a child.
