Steven K. Ball formally was charged Aug. 12 with abuse of a child for allegedly beating a 16-year-old child on Aug. 9. Ball was never booked into jail and court records do not reveal where the incident occurred.

Lisa Bunting formally was charged Aug. 11 with distribution of methamphetamine possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana without a drug tax stamp.

Matthew L. Finch formally was charged Aug. 11 with distribution of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Justin Loomis pleaded no contest June 10 to three counts of possession of methamphetamine and one count of criminal possession of a firearm. As part of a plea agreement, two counts of driving while his license was suspended, charges of forgery, theft, two counts of possession of marijuana, four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of stolen property, and one count of driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked were dismissed. The prosecutor and defense attorney agreed to recommend consecutive sentences. Sentencing will be later.

Derrick Ratzloff formally was charged Aug. 11 with five counts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm while under the influence.
