Glen Acevedo was sentenced April 4 to 60 days in jail followed by three years community corrections and ordered to pay $658 for indecent liberties with a child.

Seth M. Daniels formally was charged April 12 with possession of methamphetamine.

Joseph E. Jackson formally was charged April 11 with giving a worthless check.

Justice L. R. Johnson was sentenced April 11 to serve two days in jail for violating probation.

Marques D. Morris formally was charged April 13 with possession of heroin and marijuana, distribution of a controlled substance using a communications facility, distribution of drug paraphernalia, and driving without a valid driver’s license.

Wesley L. Riggs pleaded no contest April 11 to possession of methamphetamine. Sentencing is scheduled for July 18. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass were dismissed.

Bane L. Spurlin formally was charged April 14 with four counts of sexual exploitation of a child.

Christopher M. Thomas formally was charged April 12 with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
