Jacob W. Barger was sentenced July 13 to a year’s probation for possession of marijuana. He was ordered to pay $863.

April N. Fore pleaded no contest July 26 to interference with law enforcement and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer. Charges of domestic battery, against a law enforcement officer, driving while license canceled and having invalid registration were dismissed.

Juanita A. Gibson was sentenced July 26 to 11 months’ community corrections and ordered to pay $4,495 for possession of opiates, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with an expired tag and driving without liability insurance.

A bench warrant was issued July 29 for Richard D. Hill after he failed to appear for sentencing.

Eric C. Pettit formally was charged Monday with possession of stolen property.

Samuel I. Reffett pleaded no contest July 27 to possession of marijuana. A charge of criminal possession of a firearm was dismissed. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 22. On the same day in a separate case, he pleaded no contest to driving under the influence and circumvention of an ignition interlock device. Charges of no proof of insurance, registration not valid, driving in violation of restrictions, driving without a stop lamp, driving with a defective mirror, and driving with no tail lights were dismissed.

A bench warrant was issued July 23 for Melissa A. Tajchman after she failed to appear in court for preliminary court. Her bond was also revoked.

Michael J. Weaver was sentenced July 18 to seven days in jail followed by a year’s probation and ordered to pay $1,513 for driving under the influence.
