Caldwell, 324 E. 8th St., Newton; failed to appear Oct. 21 at arraignment on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, obstruction of official duty, driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked, reckless driving, improper movements and required signal, stop sign violation, failure to maintain a single lane, and failure to wear a seatbelt; bench warrant issued at no bond.

Cody D. Cook, 108 N. 6th St., Canton; pleaded no contest Oct. 21 to charges of misdemeanor theft and non-residential burglary; charges of vehicle burglary and possession of stolen property dismissed; sentencing set for Dec. 16.

Brandon Lee Doherty, 412 Missouri Ave., Salina; admitted to probation violation Oct. 21; probation reinstated for 12 months, review of jail time.

Doyle E. Furrer Jr., 305 N. Lincoln St., Hillsboro; pleaded not guilty Oct. 21 to charge of violation of a protection order; status hearing set for Nov. 4.

Stormy G. Snedecor, 304 SE 5th St., Newton; failed to appear at hearing Oct. 28 on state’s motion to revoke probation, bench warrant issued at $1,000 bond.

Alex Don Wells, 1614 E. 10th St., Newton; pleaded no contest Sept. 10 to charge of harassment by telephone; ordered to have no contact with Ashley Evans and her family, cannot enter Country Lakes Café, ordered to pay $158.
