Natasha E. Arnold, 119 N. 10th, Herington; pleaded not guilty Jan. 15 to charges of possession of an hallucinogenic drug (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia; status hearing set for Jan. 28.

Lacey J. Bailey, 210 W. 11th St., Florence; charges of two counts endangering a child, possession of an hallucinogenic drug (marijuana) and two counts possession of drug paraphernalia dismissed Jan. 22.

Joseph M. Bauer, 412 S. Main St., Hillsboro; hearing on motion for bond forfeiture continued from Jan. 15 to Feb. 25 on motion to revoke probation.

Patrick O. Bernhardt, 209 N. Roosevelt St., Marion; pleaded not guilty Jan. 15 to charges of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct and requested a jury trial; jury trial set for Feb. 19; status hearing set for Jan. 28.

Jesse Alan Branson, 215 W. 10th St., Florence; first amended complaint filed Jan. 30; charged with domestic battery.

Jason Lee Creevan, 1105 Grant St., Marion; pleaded not guilty Jan. 15 to charges of two counts domestic battery and disorderly conduct; status hearing set for Jan. 28.

Douglas Bryant Eden, 116 W. 3rd St., Peabody; review of sentencing on conviction of domestic battery made Jan. 9; ordered to remain in jail until Feb. 11 then placed on six months probation; ordered to complete drug and alcohol evaluation and domestic violence assessment and to seek employment.

Stephania Eppley, 323 Big Springs Road, Monroe, Tenn.; pleaded no contest Jan. 15 to charge of giving a worthless check; four counts issuing a felony worthless check dismissed; sentencing set for March 12.

Kimberly Joy Funk, 102 E. Kansas, Lehigh; sentenced Jan. 9 to 12 month controlling jail term underlying 18 months probation on two counts of misdemeanor theft; ordered to pay $268, complete drug and alcohol evaluation, and submit to drug and alcohol testing; forbidden from obtaining a nursing license while on probation and from contacting Parkside Homes or its residents.

Dominiece Lashay Renee Hutton, 240 N. Madison, Wichita; failed to appear at sentencing Jan. 7 on conviction of attempted theft by deception; bench warrant issued; appeared at hearing Jan. 9; bench warrant withdrawn; sentencing set for Feb. 4.

Chris Lieder, 313 S. Ash St., Hillsboro; arraignment continued from Jan. 7 to Feb. 4 on charges of possession of an hallucinogenic drug (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, and transporting alcohol in an open container.

Sharla M. Miller, 222 N. Ash St., Hillsboro; charge of criminal damage to property dismissed Jan. 7.

Nichole Nowak, 3275 Quail Creek Road, Ramona; sentenced Jan. 7 to six month controlling jail term underlying 12 months probation on conviction of possession of drug paraphernalia; ordered to pay $1,355.10, complete a drug and alcohol evaluation, submit to drug and alcohol testing, and complete 20 hours community service; forbidden from entering establishments that make most of their revenue from alcohol sales.

Bruce Allen Smith, 4451 Cardiff Ave., Fort Worth, Texas; arraignment held Jan. 7 on charges of possession of an hallucinogenic drug (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia; diversion status hearing or dismissal set for Feb. 25.

Stormy G. Snedecor, 304 S.E. 5th, Newton; failed to appear at sentencing Jan. 7 on conviction of obtaining a prescription-only drug by fraudulent means; bench warrant issued.

Justin Dion Tate, 520 E. 12th, Newton; at hearing Jan. 15, ordered to serve 60 days in jail then probation unsuccessfully terminated.

Briannia Chontae Washington, 604 Chestnut, Peabody; pleaded not guilty Jan. 15 to charge of domestic battery; status hearing set for Feb. 12.

Ian Anders Weisbeck, 210 6th St., Durham; charge of criminal damage to property dismissed Jan. 16.

Andres Charles Yebra, 105 S. Western, Chanute; found competent to stand trial Jan. 7 on charge of aggravated assault; preliminary hearing set for Feb. 6.

Heron A. Adames, 6811-5 Meade Loop, Fort Riley; diversion agreement filed Jan. 25 on charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs; ordered to pay $1,075 and complete alcohol and drug evaluation; forbidden from drinking and from entering establishments that make most of their revenue from alcohol sales.

Patrick Egan, 123 Nickerson, Burns; arraignment continued from Jan. 16 to March 18 on charge of driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Kordell Leon Harding, Herington; arraignment held Jan. 16 on charge of driving under the influence; plans to enter diversion agreement; diversion status hearing set for Feb. 20.

Brenda Jo Johnson, 2530 Redbud, No. 9, Lawrence; pleaded guilty Jan. 16 to no driver’s license; sentenced to six months probation; and ordered to pay $598 ($400 of that suspended).

Thomas L. Likins Jr., 2101 Exchange, Wichita; hearing on motion to forfeit bond continued from Jan. 28 to Feb. 13 on conviction of driving under the influence.

John Bruce Nieman, 507 S.W. Front St., Millsap, Texas; made first appearance Jan. 16 on charge of driving under the influence; arraignment set for Feb. 20.

Luis C. Perez, Arapaho, Okla.; made first appearance Jan. 23 on charge of driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked; arraignment set for Feb. 13.

Cody Eugene Riffel, 101 E. 5th, Woodbine; sentenced Jan. 16 on conviction of driving under the influence to 120 controlling jail term underlying 12 months probation; ordered to serve 48 hours in jail, pay $953, complete alcohol information school, inpatient-outpatient treatment, 20 hours community service, alcohol and drug evaluation, and to undergo drug and alcohol testing; forbidden from using drugs or alcohol or driving without a valid license, tag, and insurance.

Bruce L. Terwilliger, 302 S.W. 4th St., Abilene; hearing on motion to suppress continued from Jan. 16 to Feb. 25 on charge of driving under the influence.

Timothy Dale Voth, 188 120th, Newton; made first appearance Jan. 16 on charge of driving under the influence; arraignment set for Feb. 20.

Ricci Jay Welter, 428 Nebraska, Brewster; motion to suppress hearing continued from Jan. 7 to Jan. 28 on charges of driving under the influence, driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked, and transporting alcohol in an open container.

Ethan Jacob Wessel, 215 S. Freeborn St., Marion; bond appearance held Jan. 16 on charge of driving under the influence; arraignment set for Feb. 20.
