David B. Buller, 305 N. Ash St., Hillsboro; made first appearance Dec. 17 on charges of possession of an hallucinogenic drug (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia; arraignment set for Jan. 9.

Joshua M. Caldwell, 324 E. 8th St., Newton; pleaded no contest Nov. 7 to obstruction of official duty, stop sign violation, failure to maintain a single lane, and failure to wear a seatbelt; charges of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked, reckless driving, and improper movements and required signal dismissed; sentenced to six-month controlling jail term with 12 months probation; ordered to submit to drug and alcohol testing and pay $901.75; status hearing set for Dec. 19.

Daniel V. Catlin II, 210 W. 6th St., Florence; motion to revoke probation withdrawn Dec. 12.

Jerome D. Creed, 301 Santa Fe St., Marion; criminal damage to property, criminal trespass, domestic battery, criminal restraint, and assault charges dismissed Dec. 6.

Robert Scott Henderson, 602 E. 5th St., Peabody; pleaded no contest Dec. 11 to assault, criminal restraint, and domestic battery; sentencing set for Feb. 25; no-contact order lifted.

Mike Hoffner, 811 Lawrence, Durham; diversion agreement filed Dec. 18 on charge of domestic battery; ordered to complete anger management course and pay $505 fine and fees; forbidden from having contact with ex-wife; agreement duration is 12 months.

Johnnie Liles, Hillsboro; hearing held Dec. 11 on prosecution’s “Jackson vs. Denno” motion; dismissal hearing on charge of assault set for Jan. 9.

Kevin Neufeld, 108 S. Elm St., Hillsboro; waived arraignment on motion to revoke probation Dec. 12 and stipulated to violation or probation; ordered to serve six consecutive weekends in jail, then probation unsuccessfully terminated.

Brian A. Solis, 903 N. C St., Wellington; arraignment on motion to revoke probation continued from Dec. 11 to Jan. 9.

Mark A. Turner, 307 N. 1st, Hamilton; sentenced Nov. 26 to controlling 120 jail term with 12 months probation for conviction of possession of an hallucinogenic drug (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia; ordered to pay $1,187; forbidden from using drugs or alcohol or from entering any establishment that makes most of its money from alcohol; ordered to submit to drug and alcohol testing and complete 20 hours of community service.

Aaron Douglas Unruh, 328 N. Locust St., Marion; motion to revoke probation withdrawn Dec. 11.

Matthew Tyler Wallace, 5227 Shady Maple, Kingwood, Texas; hearing on charge of criminal deprivation of property continued from Dec. 12 to Jan. 9.

Adam E. Williams, 808 Morrow Court, Lawrence; bench trial Dec. 12 on charge of furnishing alcohol to a minor; dismissed upon payment of court costs, surcharge, and court-appointed attorney fees.

Andres Charles Yebra, 105 S. Western, Chanute; preliminary hearing held Dec. 5 on charge of aggravated assault; ordered to undergo a competency evaluation; status hearing set for Jan. 7.

Timothy Robert Yinger, 609 S. Cedar St., Marion; first appearance made Dec. 17 on charges of domestic battery and disorderly conduct; arraignment set for Feb. 4.

Michael G. Holcomb, 806 Knollwood, Wakefield; charges of driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked and window tint dismissed.

Edward D. Kinkaid, 4033 N.W. 180th St., Burns; charges of failure to wear a seatbelt and inoperable turn signals dismissed Dec. 19.

Huynh Quoc Lai, 735 S. Chateau Circle, Wichita, pleaded guilty Nov. 21 to speeding (96 mph in 65 mph zone); charges of littering and expired license plate; ordered to pay $383.

Sean Paul McDougal, 709 Abilene, Durham; pleaded guilty Nov. 21 to speeding and failure to give certain information after an accident; charge of driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked dismissed; ordered to pay $273.
