Michele R. Dillashaw, 608 S. Cedar St., Marion; pleaded guilty Nov. 5 to two counts giving a worthless check; sentenced to 30-day controlling term for each count, consecutive to each other, and placed on probation for 12 months; ordered to pay $520 fines, fees, and restitution. Charge of contributing to a child’s misconduct or deprivation dismissed Nov. 5.

Taft No. 17, McPherson; failed to appear at motion to suppress hearing Nov. 13, bench warrant ordered and held until Nov. 15; charged with possession of an hallucinogenic drug (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, and permitting an unauthorized minor to drive.

Angelica Nicole Hinostroza, 2778 C Ave., White City; plea agreement filed Nov. 26; agreed to plead guilty (under terms of North Carolina vs. Alford) to two counts of sexual battery and to obtain mental health and sexual offender evaluations; prosecution agreed to recommend 12-month consecutive controlling jail terms on each count and immediate 24 month probation.

Dominiece Lashay Renee Hutton, 240 N. Madison, Wichita; pleaded guilty Nov. 5 to attempted theft by deception; charge of forgery dismissed; sentencing set for Dec. 17.

Mathew J. Leach, 204 N. D St., Ramona; failed to appear at arraignment Nov. 19, bench warrant ordered and held until Nov. 21, prior bond revoked; charged with assault.

Calvin Ray Maurer, 208 S. Kennedy St., Hillsboro; made first appearance Nov. 26 on charges of two counts of forgery and two counts of misdemeanor theft; preliminary hearing set for Dec. 5. Plea agreement filed Dec. 5; agreed to plead guilty or no contest to two counts misdemeanor theft and pay restitution; prosecution agreed to dismiss two counts of forgery and recommend no fine and a sentence of time served, as well as dismissal of case of fleeing or attempting to elude and driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Calvin Ray Maurer, 1124 Weldon, Marion; sentenced Nov. 13 on conviction of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol to 6 month controlling jail term with 90 days in jail with credit for time served; ordered to pay $1,455 fines and fees.

Bryan Patrick McCreary; plea agreement filed Dec. 5; agreed to plead guilty or no contest to two counts mistreatment of a dependant adult and pay restitution; prosecution agreed to dismiss two counts misdemeanor theft and to recommend no fine, sentences be concurrent, and that defendant receive probation and no jail time.

Carrie L. Terwilliger, 302 S.W. 4th St., Abilene; preliminary hearing continued from Nov. 28 to Jan. 2 on charges of possession of hydrocodone, possession of an hallucinogenic drug (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, and transporting alcohol in an open container.

Frank James Wilson, 225 W. Ruth St., Moundridge; motion for dispositional departure granted Nov. 13 on grounds that previous conviction was 25 years ago; sentenced to 32 months in prison for residential burglary underlying 24 months probation and ordered to pay $6,273.69; six-month prison term for each of two convictions of felony theft underlying 24 months probation; all terms consecutive; ordered to write a letter of apology to victims; ordered to submit to drug and alcohol testing and gain and maintain employment; ordered to submit to DNA registration and complete drug and alcohol evaluation; prohibited from contacting Kim Keazer or E.
